This big old world has turned around the sun to present us with the 3rd Annual BigeloWhite & Duncan Garden Party, occurring on Sunday August 30th, 2–6 pm.

It looks like we will have our normal excellent weather one day after the full Sturgeon supermoon; snacks and beverages (feel free to bring your own favorites;) and some backpacks to fill with elementary school supplies for the upcoming school year. Last year we had 6 backpacks to fill. To match the generosity of all our attendees we needed to add 14 more. Blew us away!

This year we are expecting performances from Larry Murante, the prize winning singer/songwriter who happens to live just blocks away; Kaley Marie, another neighborhood songstress who is busy generating buzz like a hive; Town Hall Brawl, one of the pre-eminent blues/rock bands in Seattle; Grace Carroll, a student of Mr. White, who threatens to play her own composition; and the house favorites­—because a couple of them live in the house­—The DooWahs, who will be coming off their appearance at this year’s Jokum Fest on August 15th. We may also have some surprise performers dependent on flight schedules and the like.

Please remember that this is an all ages affair—treat our neighborhood kindly. Bring lawn chairs if you’d like. We will provide some shade.
