About Us

The DooWahs:

Connie Bigelow / Guitar and Vocals
Connie plays guitar and sings most of the high parts. She got her start singing Motown harmonies with her sister Allison when they were knee high to a Temptation in their hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

Scott Martin / Drums
Iowa corn-fed all-around musician, Scott has been drumming for decades. Long time member of the Dusty 45s, he also sang and drummed with Elvis (impersonators)!?! and is currently working with The Loveless Building.

Billy Reed / Keyboards and Vocals
Billy started tickling the ivories before he went to kindergarten and never stopped. He plays with many of the Northwest’s top blues and roots rock bands, including All Stars, No Stripes, John Stephan Band, Scott E Lind Band, Lone State, and Town Hall Brawl. Winner of the 2023 Washington Blues Society Best Keyboard award, he knows more tunes than a tinker has hammers!

Walter White / Baritone and Bass Guitars, Vocals
Walter began playing the bass in 1971 after classical training on oboe and saxophone. He performs with a myriad of talented musicians including Charley Churchill and the Heathens, Jack Cook and the Phantoms of Soul, John Stephan Band, and the famous Lefty Jones Band of New York City. When not performing, Walter teaches music privately and impresses high and middle school students with his name.

Bill Fraser / Pedal Steel
Bill plays guitar and lap steel with One Mean Cheese and The Pourboys, and pedal steel with the Doowahs. He travels all the way from Port Townsend to practice with us and we're amazed at his talents and patience. Thank you Bill. Really. You're amazing.
